Ah Mythology !
All its gods, heros and tales are an endless source of imagination.
Having told them the story of Ulysses, I would like to share other figures with young audiences, to show them where to find this extraordinary place that they can come back to throughout their lives.
The three Parcae are key figures that circulate throughout the adventures of heros and gods. They live in an abode neighbouring that of the Hours, in the region of Mount Olympus, where they watch over the destiny of mortals, the movement of the celestial spheres and the harmony of the world. These divine and relentless spinners decide each person's fate by cutting or weaving the thread of life. They are at once the past, the present and the future.
They hover over the living, holding the threads that stretch out. Their ample and delicate movements weave time and can decide, to keep the world from collapsing, to break or strengthen human destinies.
